Moving Up
The Way to Work is known for making long-term commitments to its clients. After clients complete The Way to Work’s intensive, 15-week curriculum, the organization continues to provide support and mentoring for its graduates for one year after a client’s first job placement.
As part of The Way to Work’s nationally-recognized Moving Up program, Career Managers track clients for one-year after training completion to make sure that alumni not only maintain their employment but also advance in their careers by securing promotions, raises in salary, completing their GED, and pursuing higher education.
The Way to Work’s Retention Specialist provides re-placement services to alumni who lose their jobs or want a better job after gaining some work experience.
